About

I am a hybrid UX/UI and visual designer. From a young age, I love to design, paint, draw, create things using my hands, and solve mathematical problems. Also a life long learner and a natural mentor. I am highly skilled in problem solving, visual communication, and analytical thinking.

In the past twenty-five plus years, I have worked on digital and print projects for companies i.e. Symantec, Norton, Sun Microsystems, AMD, etc.. Having a track record of understanding their business needs and creating solutions that excelled their expectations, raised their brand positions and increased sales.

I have transitioned into UX design where I discover this is where empathy, problem solving and visual design blend. My past engagement in volunteer works abroad has given me understanding of different cultures and cognitive frameworks. I am a true believer of the human centered design philosophy. My aspiration is to create human centered design that go beyond skin and surface beauty to improve the lives of many and make this world a better place to live.

I hold a BFA in Graphic design from California College of the Art, San Francisco, and a short certificate in experiential design with BAVC, San Francisco. In the fall of 2016, I attended BrainStation UXI Immersive full time in Toronto to further my user experience and user interface design skills.

My graphic design works have been showcased in American Corporate Identity Book, Cool Cards, Communication Arts Magazine, Creativity, How Self-promotion, Graphis Logo, Type Directors Club Annual, Print Regional Design Annuals, and Muse Site of the Day.
